Volkswagen's pre-order range here is SUV-heavy, with the Bora sedan as the single exception. It covers electric, petrol and plug-in hybrid power, all of it to Chinese-market specification. That makes it a practical range to order against demand that has not settled on one kind of powertrain.
The Tiguan and T-Roc cover the crossover positions where a lot of retail demand sits, and the Bora gives the range a sedan for fleet buyers. The electric options are listed alongside the combustion ones rather than in a separate catalog, which makes them easier to weigh against each other.
