The MHERO 1 (Chinese: Mengshi 917) is a full-size luxury SUV manufactured by Dongfeng Motor Corporation, available in the UAE.
The MHERO 1 features Hybrid REV (Range-Extended Vehicle) technology, combining three electric motors with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol range extender. The powertrain delivers 805 HP and 1050 Nm of torque, achieving 0–100 km/h in 6 seconds with a WLTP range of 834 km. The extended-range model uses CATL battery cells, providing 176 km pure electric range and 834 km total range.
The MHERO 1 features intelligent all-wheel drive with six driver modes (Snow, Mud, Sand, Rock, Water, Auto) and specialized off-road assistance. With a 5.1-metre turning radius and rear wheel steering assistance, the vehicle offers exceptional agility. Crab Moving Mode enables diagonal movement at low speeds for parking and trail navigation. Maximum water fording depth reaches 90 cm.
