Export Toyota Camry to Ghana
Toyota's manufacturer warranty on a new Camry Hybrid covers defects in materials and workmanship for three years or 100,000 kilometres, whichever comes first. The warranty is bumper-to-bumper, meaning it covers all factory components. The hybrid battery and hybrid-specific systems—inverter, motor generator, and high-voltage wiring—carry the same three-year, 100,000 km coverage as the rest of the vehicle. After 100,000 km or three years, hybrid battery coverage extends to eight years or 160,000 km under Toyota's separate powertrain battery warranty, provided scheduled maintenance has been completed on time.
Toyota operates a unified global warranty database. When you export a new Camry Hybrid from Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) in Dubai, the vehicle's warranty is recognised and honoured by Toyota-authorised service centres in Ghana. You will need to register the vehicle with a local authorised Toyota dealer in Ghana upon arrival; this registration links your export invoice and VIN to Toyota's warranty system. Most authorised dealers in Accra and other major Ghanaian cities can perform this registration within one business day. Once registered, the three-year, 100,000 km coverage becomes active immediately.
Bring your vehicle to any Toyota-authorised service centre in Ghana. Present your export invoice from Beyond Autos, the original vehicle registration document, warranty booklet (stamped by the authorised dealer at first service), and proof of scheduled maintenance completion. The service centre will assess the fault and, if covered, perform repairs at no cost to you. Turnaround typically ranges from three to ten working days, depending on parts availability and repair complexity. Labour and parts are covered under warranty; only consumables (oil, filters, brake fluid top-ups) fall outside coverage.
Toyota's warranty is voided if the vehicle has undergone non-OEM modifications, missed scheduled service intervals at authorised dealers, or been involved in accidents or misuse. Off-warranty repairs completed at non-authorised garages do not automatically void coverage but may exclude related systems from future claims. Using non-genuine Toyota parts for repairs also risks warranty denial on affected components.
