Export Toyota Hilux Champ to Ghana
The Toyota Hilux Champ comes with a manufacturer warranty covering three years or 100,000 kilometres from the date of first registration—whichever comes first. This bumper-to-bumper coverage protects against defects in materials and workmanship across all major systems. The powertrain (engine, transmission, transfer case) is covered under the same three-year / 100,000 km term; Toyota does not offer an extended powertrain warranty on this model.
Toyota operates a unified global warranty database. When you purchase a new Hilux Champ from Beyond Autos in Dubai, the vehicle's VIN and warranty booklet are registered with Toyota's international system. This warranty is valid at any Toyota authorised service centre in Ghana without requiring re-registration or local dealer validation. Bring your original export invoice from Beyond Autos, the vehicle's warranty booklet (issued and stamped at handover), and your original registration documents to any authorised Toyota workshop in Ghana. The warranty transfers with the vehicle if ownership changes, provided all service records are maintained.
Visit any Toyota authorised service centre in Ghana and present your warranty booklet, export invoice, and vehicle registration. The service centre will diagnose the fault at no charge if it falls within coverage. Most claims are processed within 5–10 working days for parts availability and labour completion. If a claim is approved, you pay nothing; the centre invoices Toyota directly. Keep all service receipts and warranty stamps—they are proof of valid coverage and essential if you later need to prove maintenance compliance.
The warranty is voided if you use non-OEM parts, skip scheduled service intervals at a non-authorised workshop, or attempt repair by an unlicensed technician. Modifications to the engine, suspension, or electrical system also void coverage for affected components. Damage from accidents, harsh off-road use beyond normal commercial operation, or failure to use the correct fuel type (diesel) will not be covered. Grey-area claims—such as wear items (brake pads, filters) or damage from poor maintenance—are assessed case-by-case by Toyota.
