Export Toyota Tundra to Ghana
The Toyota Tundra comes with a manufacturer warranty covering three years or 100,000 kilometres, whichever comes first. This bumper-to-bumper coverage includes mechanical and electrical components. The powertrain—engine, transmission, and drivetrain—receives the same three-year protection as the rest of the vehicle, with no separate extended coverage period.
Toyota operates a global warranty database that recognises new vehicles exported directly from authorised ports, including the Jebel Ali Free Zone in Dubai. When you purchase a new Tundra through Beyond Autos and register it with Toyota Ghana using your original export invoice and VIN documentation, the warranty becomes valid immediately. You do not need to re-register or validate the vehicle with a domestic dealer; Toyota's system acknowledges your purchase date from the point of export. This approach applies across Toyota's network in West Africa, including Ghana, making the warranty straightforward to activate.
To claim warranty work, visit any authorised Toyota service centre in Ghana. Bring your warranty booklet (stamped by the exporter), original export invoice, vehicle registration documents, and proof of the issue. The service centre will diagnose the problem, confirm warranty eligibility against Toyota's database, and proceed with repair or replacement at no cost to you. Turnaround typically ranges from a few days to two weeks depending on parts availability and the complexity of the work. Authorised centres in Accra and other major Ghanaian cities stock common Tundra components; less frequent items may require shipment from regional Toyota distribution hubs.
Warranty coverage is forfeited if the vehicle has undergone non-OEM modifications—custom engine tuning, aftermarket suspension lifts, or non-genuine electrical upgrades—that directly caused the failure. Missed scheduled service intervals at authorised centres also void coverage for affected systems. Damage from accidents, flooding, or severe off-road use outside normal driving conditions is not covered. Repairs completed outside the authorised network may also disqualify claims for subsequent related faults.
