BYD is a Chinese manufacturer built around battery-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, and its pre-order range mirrors that focus. SUVs make up the bulk of the catalog, with a run of sedans and a handful of compact hatchbacks alongside them. For most buyers the opening decision is simply whether their market is better served by pure electric cars or by plug-in hybrids.
The BYD cars open for pre-order divide almost evenly between the two. Where public charging is still thin on the ground, a plug-in hybrid removes the range question without giving up electric running around town; where fleets work fixed urban routes and charge overnight, the battery-electric cars usually make the better commercial case.
Fuel type, engine and trim are all picked in the configurator, so one order can be built around whichever powertrain your customers actually ask for.
These cars are sourced new and direct from the manufacturer in China rather than from the resale market. A deposit secures your allocation in the production run, and the balance becomes due once the vehicles land, with a grace period to settle it.
Delivery can be CIF to the port in your destination country or FOB at Jebel Ali in Dubai, whichever fits your logistics better. Allocations are booked in batches, so there is a floor on how few cars a single order can cover.
