Positioning

The GAC M8 is GAC's flagship people carrier, a large MPV built for family transport, executive shuttles and hospitality fleets. At 5212 mm long, 1893 mm wide and 1823 mm tall, it competes in the full-size MPV segment where cabin space and rear-seat comfort matter most. It uses front-wheel drive, hinged front doors and sliding rear doors, and is certified to China National VI emissions standards. Powertrains and Trims

Two powertrains are offered. The petrol version uses the 4B20J1 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder, producing 252 PS and 400 N·m through an 8-speed automatic. It comes in two forms. The 2.0T Premium Edition seats seven. The 2.0T Welfare Edition seats six.

The hybrid is a non-plug-in system and needs no external charging. It pairs the 4B20J2 2.0-litre turbo engine (190 PS, 330 N·m) with a 182 PS, 300 N·m front electric motor through a 2-speed DHT. It is offered as the 7-seat HEV Premium Edition and HEV Supreme Edition.

The M8's size gives it a spacious cabin across all rows. The sliding rear doors make entry easy in tight parking spaces and kerbside pick-ups. The 2.0T petrol engine has strong torque for a vehicle of this size. The hybrid suits operators who want lower fuel use in urban driving without plug-in infrastructure. Common Gripes
