Export Toyota Innova to Ghana
Toyota's new Innova Hybrid carries a three-year or 100,000-kilometre manufacturer warranty, whichever comes first. This bumper-to-bumper coverage includes all factory components and workmanship. The hybrid powertrain—engine, electric motor, battery pack, and hybrid system electronics—falls under the same three-year warranty period, with no separate extended coverage required. Toyota does not differentiate powertrain warranty duration for hybrid models on the Innova.
Toyota operates a unified global warranty database. When you purchase a new Innova Hybrid from Jebel Ali Free Zone and export it to Ghana, your vehicle is registered into Toyota's international system using its VIN and original export invoice. Authorised Toyota service centres in Ghana recognise this registration and honour the full three-year warranty without requiring re-validation or in-country re-registration. You do not need a separate Ghanaian warranty transfer; your export documents and warranty booklet are sufficient at any Toyota-affiliated workshop in Accra or regional cities.
Present your vehicle, original export invoice, warranty booklet, and VIN documentation to an authorised Toyota service centre in Ghana. The technician inspects the reported fault, confirms it falls within warranty scope, and processes the claim through Toyota's online system. Depending on parts availability and repair complexity, most straightforward claims (battery diagnostics, electrical faults, mechanical defects) are resolved within five to ten working days. Parts sourced from Toyota's regional distribution network typically arrive faster than bespoke orders. Keep all service records and receipts to substantiate your warranty claim.
Non-authorised modifications to the hybrid system, engine tuning, or electrical components void coverage on affected parts. Missing scheduled service intervals at authorised Toyota workshops will nullify warranty claims related to poor maintenance. Accident damage, water immersion, or off-road abuse are excluded. If you repair the vehicle outside the Toyota network before claiming, the manufacturer may deny that specific claim.
