Export Toyota Yaris to Ghana
Toyota backs the Yaris with a three-year, unlimited-kilometre bumper-to-bumper warranty covering all factory components and systems. Powertrain coverage—engine, transmission, and drivetrain—extends to five years or 100,000 kilometres, whichever comes first. This is Toyota's standard global offering and applies to petrol variants shipped from Jebel Ali Free Zone.
Toyota operates a unified global warranty database. Your Yaris imported new from Dubai to Ghana is covered at any Toyota-authorised service centre in the country. You do not need a separate in-country re-registration or validation; the OEM recognises the vehicle from its VIN and export documentation. Authorised Toyota dealers in Accra and other major Ghanaian cities can process warranty claims directly against your purchase invoice and original warranty booklet.
Bring your vehicle, original export invoice, warranty booklet, and VIN paperwork to an authorised Toyota service centre. The technician will diagnose the fault and cross-reference your coverage dates and mileage against Toyota's system. If the claim is valid, repair or replacement is carried out at no cost. Turnaround depends on parts availability and the nature of the work; most routine claims are resolved within one to two weeks. Keep all service records and receipts, as they document compliance with scheduled maintenance intervals.
Warranty is void if the vehicle has been modified with non-OEM parts or performance upgrades, if scheduled service intervals have been missed at non-authorised workshops, or if repairs were attempted outside the Toyota network. Accidental damage, normal wear and tear, and misuse are not covered. Additionally, claims submitted after the warranty period has expired—whether in years or kilometres—will be rejected. Ensure all scheduled maintenance is completed at an authorised centre to preserve full coverage.
