The Jetour T2 competes in the compact SUV segment, offering practical, everyday mobility with options ranging from entry-level to mid-spec trims. Jetour positions this model for first-time SUV buyers, fleet operators, and re-exporters seeking reliable, cost-effective transport across diverse markets.
The T2 is available with either a 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine producing 184 hp and 290 Nm, or a more powerful 2.0L turbocharged petrol delivering 254 hp and 390 Nm. The 1.5T powers the entry-level Exploration, Explore+, and Pony Edition variants with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. The 2.0T is paired with either a 7-speed dual-clutch or an 8-speed automatic on the Conqueror and Conquer+ models, all with four-wheel-drive capability.
Base trims—Exploration and Explore+—feature the 1.5T in 5-seat layouts. Mid-range Discovery and Crossover variants step up to the 2.0T with standard 5-seat configurations and Pony Edition sub-variants. The top-tier Conquer and Conquer+ models add an 8-speed automatic and extend to 7-seat arrangements, with the Conquer+ offering enhanced specification. All models meet National VI emissions standards.
The dual-engine strategy appeals to cost-conscious buyers via the efficient 1.5T, while the 2.0T and XWD drive systems satisfy those needing stronger performance and traction. The option for 7 seats on higher trims adds family appeal and resale flexibility across markets where larger seating is preferred.
The 7-speed dual-clutch on 1.5T models can feel less refined than larger rivals' automatic boxes, and real-world fuel economy varies significantly with driving conditions. Service network maturity outside major hubs may present logistics challenges for re-exporters in remote regions.
