Standard warranty

The Toyota HiAce comes with a manufacturer warranty of 3 years or 100,000 kilometres, whichever comes first. This bumper-to-bumper coverage includes engine, transmission, suspension, electrical systems, and body components. The powertrain (diesel engine and gearbox) receives the same 3-year / 100,000 km protection as the rest of the vehicle, with no separate extended powertrain tier.

Validity in Ghana

Toyota operates a unified global warranty database, meaning your HiAce exported new from Dubai will be recognised by any Toyota authorised service centre in Ghana. When you import the vehicle through Beyond Autos and complete local registration, you retain full warranty coverage provided the export invoice and original warranty booklet are presented at the time of service. Ghana has an established Toyota dealer network in Accra and other major cities, so accessing warranty repairs is straightforward. You will need to present your export documents, VIN verification paperwork, and the warranty booklet to activate claims.

Claim process

To claim warranty work, visit any Toyota authorised service centre in Ghana with your vehicle, export invoice from Beyond Autos, original warranty booklet, and vehicle registration documents. The service centre will inspect the fault and verify it falls within warranty terms. Most claims are processed within 1–2 weeks for parts availability and repair completion, depending on the component. For major engine or transmission work, turnaround may extend to 3 weeks if parts must be sourced from Toyota's regional distribution hub. Warranty repairs carry no out-of-pocket cost for covered items.

What voids the warranty

Warranty coverage is forfeited if the vehicle has undergone non-OEM modifications (custom suspension, engine tuning, or aftermarket electrical work), missed scheduled service intervals at authorised Toyota centres, or repairs attempted by independent mechanics. Accident damage, severe water ingress, or off-road damage beyond normal use also voids coverage. Tampering with the odometer or VIN invalidates all warranty rights immediately.
